It has been a while since the update was first speculated but here it is!
The site layout was designed by your fellow SA members and therefore it's made by the people for the people.
We have also updated to the latest version of vBulletin to get all their new features. So it might take some getting use to but overall the new forums are awesome!
Lastly, I want to thank all the members for being VERY patient with waiting for the updated layout.
Late the games begin!

Zipper working on unannounced PS3 game
MAG is currently in the final stages of production, with Zipper stress testing the online servers and ironing out some final bugs. The game is due in just a bit more than 2 months on January 26, exclusively on the PS3. It doesn't look like Zipper will be taking any time off, though - the Seattle-based developer is working on another, unannounced PS3 title.
According to the Linked In profiles of several Zipper employees, the dev has been working on a second PS3 game for quite some time. Graham Kay, a former Design Manager of Zipper Interactive, lists that he worked on 'Massive Action Game (PS3) & Unannounced project (PS3)'. More recently, a senior software engineer for the company, wrote that he's currently "developing gameplay for two PS3 games". Specifically, he works "on the core character team at Zipper developing game play to be used in both games currently under development for the PS3".
Earlier this summer, we spotted SOCOM 4 listed on PCB Production's credits page and theorized that Zipper could be working on the title. It's increasingly looking more and more like this is the case.

New Rules
The SOCOM Arena staff has decided to edit the rules to what we feel, will be better for the site and have less confusion about certain areas.
Clan wars are now 3v3 up to 7v7, we are hoping that 3v3s will give you guys more opportunity for wars and taking out 8v8s so you can bring in a ref during any war and the fact 8v8s produce alot of lag in the room being unfair for a clean match.
Other rules added:
If you green up to a match you are accepting how the map you are about to play is made and the players you are going against regardless of what the notes say. Unless the map is Tug of War and you specified a point limit then you shall remake the room.
ISO/Slim abuse: First time a player abuses it they will receive a warning from the ref, The Second time the team will loose the map 6-0 and the player will be asked to sit the remainder of the war.
